Nimbus starts season with CKW’s Annual General Meeting

CKW and Nimbus are pleased with the successful physical implementation

In 2023, Sponsoring and Event specialist Yvonne Bieri took on overall responsibility for organizing CKW’s Annual General Meeting. She praised Nimbus’ competence and extensive experience and was very happy with their pleasant cooperation during the planning phase, as well as with the smooth implementation of the AGM.

Nimbus traditionally starts the AGM season with CKW’s General Assembly. This year, the event again took place with the participants’ physical presence on 27 January 2023. In close cooperation with Yvonne Bieri, the meeting was meticulously planned, from the convening procedure (which includes processing of registrations and granting power of attorney) right up to the event schedule. Yvonne Bieri praised the helpful support she was given by Nimbus experts: “Since it was the first year I carried overall responsibility for the event, working so closely together with Nimbus was also a first for me. I immediately understood how professionally and responsibly these AGM specialists go about their work – and that I no longer had to worry about the voting procedure.”

Access gates, share register office, voting direction and electronic voting devices

Nimbus’ AGM specialists always look forward to the General Assembly carried out by the energy and building technology provider CKW, as Hanspeter Knill, Production Manager at Nimbus, points out: “The people at CKW always prepare their tasks so well that the event runs perfectly smoothly every time. Their General Assembly always stands for a positive start of our bustling AGM season.”

As for many years, Nimbus installed the access gate infrastructure and the share register’s information booth. Access is controlled at the entry gates, where shareholders are also handed their personal voting device, programmed according to their individual voting rights. The information desk provides answers to participants’ requests or help to anyone having forgotten to bring their access card.

In the hall, Nimbus set up all the components required for electronic voting: voting direction, aerial system, server and IT infrastructure. Technical checks were carried out, including testing of the NIMBUS VS voting system and a run-through of the evaluation process for the voting results, including their transmission to CKW’s technical event management.

The General Assembly ran as smoothly as expected.
