Swiss Re now uses NIMBUS ShApp for the company’s electronic communication with its shareholders

Swiss Re now uses all of the NIMBUS Solutions Suite’s subsystems: NIMBUS AR®, GV® and ShApp®

Swiss Re has been a Nimbus client since the 1990s. The company manages its share register with NIMBUS AR and uses NIMBUS GV for Annual General Meetings. Recently, the reinsurer has started using NIMBUS ShApp – the platform for digitalizing communication between the company and shareholders, as well as for granting powers of attorney and issuing instructions to the independent proxy.

A new user interface for a tried and tested platform
With the introduction of NIMBUS ShApp, Swiss Re simplified its AGM process by addressing the complex interface issues and now procures all its AGM services from a single source. However, Swiss Re wanted the user interface to be revised and therefore approached Daniel Stucki, Head of Development at Nimbus, with the relevant ideas. The IT service provider picked up the ball. In close cooperation, the “Swiss Re – Nimbus” team reviewed the platform and modernized its user interface. Jointly, their experts raised the solution to a state-of-the-art level that meets Swiss Re’s high standards. As part of the simplification of the AGM process, procedures were also optimized, for example the processing of reply forms.

The first physical AGM after a three-year break HAD TO succeed!
After a three-year break and with a new platform, as well as optimized processes, it was all the more important for Markus Zwyssig to know that a trusted partner such as Nimbus was by his side: “Of course, we wanted nothing less than the perfectly executed AGM.
