Nimbus AG was founded in 1991, with Hansjörg Stucki acting as a pioneering figure from the very beginning. He was an early mover and committed player in the world of shareholder solutions and services, and has not only facilitated its digitalization, but also contributed to shaping it. Today, Nimbus stands for consistency, expertise, and a fresh impetus with the next generation led by Managing Director Daniel Stucki.

1991

Nimbus AG is founded

Nimbus AG is founded. As a founder, Hansjörg Stucki contributes his experience of 10 years in digital share register management to the new company.

2004

Nimbus VS sets the standard for general meetings

The Nimbus VotingSystem becomes an indispensable helper for quickly and accurately determining the results of votes at general assemblies.

2013

ShApp is launched

ShApp, Nimbus’ platform, is established for implementing the Minder initiative.

2019

New addition to the management team

Daniel Stucki returns to Nimbus after his years of working abroad and is appointed to the Executive Board.

2020

Nimbus stays resilient in challenging times

Despite the pandemic, all of Nimbus’ clients can hold their AGM properly. Nimbus’ ShApp platform meets all requirements set out by the COVID Ordinance for conducting AGMs during the pandemic situation. Nimbus can therefore help a substantial number of new clients to conduct their AGM in compliance with the law.

2021

Strategic business expansions

Nimbus AG implements its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is certified according to the ISO 27001 standard. As part of strategic corporate planning, the company’s ownership is reorganised. Sole proprietor Hansjörg Stucki makes his three daughters and his cousin Daniel Stucki co-owners.

2023

First virtual Annual General Meeting

The first virtual AGM of a global corporation listed on the SWX is carried out successfully using Nimbus’ platform.

2025

Generational transition

On 1st July 2025, co-owner Daniel Stucki takes over Nimbus AG’s management. As a partner on eye level, as a family business with a vision and as people with a sense of responsibility, Nimbus and its team are transitioning towards the next generation.
