The AGM is our largest customer event

Remo Weiersmüller, Senior Process Manager for Processes and Automation at St.Galler Kantonalbank, was appointed overall project manager for the Annual General Meeting from 2025. For the bank, a smoothly functioning event is a “must”. Remo Weiersmüller feels grateful to be able to depend on every single Nimbus team member’s experience, know-how and personal commitment: “Nimbus is the only partner I’ve known to be just as happy as we are that everything worked out so well.”

The three stages of AGM organization
For Remo Weiersmüller, the current AGM project had already started in September 2024. The first stage consisted of developing the concept and budget. In January, a newspaper advertisement was then published in the “St. Galler Tagblatt” and in the “Handelsblatt” to inform shareholders about the option to submit agenda items. Approximately 35,000 invitations were sent out, followed by the processing of registrations and the mailing of access cards. 

During the Annual General Meeting, Nimbus takes on an important role in voting logistics. “As a public limited company, we must comply with clear requirements when conducting votes. Nimbus has been supporting us for the formal part of our general meetings since our IPO in 2000”, says Remo Weiersmüller.

When it comes to access control, the bank also relies on Nimbus technology. Each and every guest is handed out his or her personal voting device enabling them to cast their vote effortlessly. The results are analysed in real time and made available in just a few seconds.
