Our infrastructure is state-of-the-art, and we carry out penetration tests, access controls and real-time monitoring on a regular basis. Moreover, we follow a continuous training concept for all security-relevant roles.

Is Nimbus suitable for physical, virtual and hybrid AGMs?

Yes: the provider’s voting and election infrastructure supports physical, virtual, as well as hybrid AGMs, both legally compliant and in line with statutory requirements. Swiss companies and corporations have already used Nimbus systems in all three types of General Meetings: successfully and very satisfactorily. 

How does Nimbus ensure data security and shareholder data protection?

Nimbus software is “made in Switzerland” and its further development is consistently taken care of in Ziegelbrücke. All systems and data are hosted in redundant Swiss data centres. Nimbus, i. e. its information security management system (ISMS), is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001 and was re-certified in 2024 according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Information security is an integral part of Nimbus’ value proposition.

When using Nimbus’ services, do companies manage their share register themselves or is it done by Nimbus?

Our customers decide if they prefer to manage their own share register or to outsource this to Nimbus. Advantages of outsourcing are that companies can rely on their bespoken contract manager who knows all their important stakeholders. Naturally, replacement is guaranteed at all times. Nimbus has a wealth of experience and expertise gained over many years and can deal with any kind of challenge. Share registers are managed on a daily basis; synchronization with SIX SIS also occurs automatically every day.

What size and from which industries are the companies Nimbus works for?

Over 150 renowned Swiss companies of all types of industries, as well as associations and municipalities, rely on Nimbus’ technologies and services. During the AGM season, we at Nimbus provide our support during more than 70 General Meetings – often simultaneously at several AGMs per day – and make 8500 electronic voting devices available. The list of our customers includes, among others, CKW, FCSG, Galenica, Georg Fischer, Julius Bär, Jungfraubahnen, Raiffeisenbanken, Roche, St. Galler Kantonalbank, Swiss Re, Swiss Ski, etc.

How do Nimbus technologies integrate into existing systems?

Nimbus has dedicated inhouse software engineers who develop the technologies and are always ready to adapt to customer-specific needs within a reasonable period of time. As an example, Nimbus has developed an interface between NIMBUS ShApp and a client portal. This enables shareholders to access the Nimbus platform via the client portal without needing another log-in: Single-Sign-On.

Can Nimbus also handle complex business or corporate structures?
