Extended Management and ownership bring about the generational handover at Nimbus

Two years ago, Hansjörg Stucki took the first step to bring about the generational handover at Nimbus. He enlarged the company’s Senior Management and distributed managerial responsibility for it to be shared by several heads. In a second step, he has now extended ownership by enabling his CTO Daniel Stucki, as well as his three daughters, to take a share in the business. These forward-looking transformations will ensure stability and continuity within Nimbus while allowing Hansjörg Stucki to gradually withdraw from the operational business. However, he will continue to make his experience and expertise available to the Management team.

Hansjörg Stucki founded Nimbus AG 30 years ago. His company provides Shareholder Solutions & Services ‟made in Ziegelbrückeˮ. Now Nimbus AG has taken the next step towards its long prepared generational change: after solidly establishing its new Senior Management, it has proceeded to extend the company’s ownership. Management of business operations will not change: Hans-Peter Süess is Managing Director, Daniel Stucki stays on as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Hanspeter Knill continues as the head of Production and Emil Aschwanden still manages the Service Team. Of course, Hansjörg Stucki will always be available to assist the Leading Board with his vast experience and expertise, particularly in the area of Change and Innovation Management.

Daniel Stucki holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a diploma in Business Management. Throughout his studies, he completed several internships at Nimbus AG. After receiving his degree, he worked as a software engineer for Zühlke Engineering where he was involved in several projects, in particular for the telecoms industry and the banking sector. In 2017, he returned to the Glarnerland region and reintegrated Nimbus AG. He has been part of Senior Management since 2019, where he manages the developers’ team. As a technical lead, he is also responsible for the further development of the Nimbus Solutions Suite.

As part of the succession planning, Hansjörg Stucki is proud of being able to place his business in capable, responsible hands: “We let actions speak.
